Title：Big Data and China’s Approach to Net Zero Emission in 2050

标题：大数据与中国2050年净零排放的方法

Abstract：

The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) proposed new goals to ensure that global warming does not exceed 1.5 ° C, global carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions will be 45% lower in 2030 than in 2010, and net zero emissions will be achieved in 2050. According to the current trend, China's emissions in 2030 will exceed the global emissions set by the IPCC, and it is impossible to achieve zero emissions in 2050. If emission reduction measures can be combined with various capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) technologies, China will not only reach its peak as scheduled and achieve net zero emissions by 2050, but also ensure the healthy and rapid growth of the economy.

The digital traces can be used to monitor, predict, and nudge the visitors’ behaviors. In this talk, I will discuss how search engine data, website data, crowd-sources data, and mobile phone data, used to help the tourism industry and park agencies to improve their management abilities.
